Good to know
Welcome to The Boar’s Nest 🌲🐗♨️
Your private countryside escape awaits! Nestled on 185 secluded acres in beautiful Cayamant, Quebec, The Boar’s Nest offers a unique blend of romance, nature, adventure, and authentic farm life.
Wake up to peaceful waterfront views from the chalet, spend your days exploring private trails, and end your evenings soaking in the hot tub beneath the stars. Cozy up around the fireplace, relax under the warm glow of the Edison lights out front, or simply enjoy the incredible privacy and sounds of nature surrounding you.
Water access is just across the street, where a private dock provides the perfect spot to launch a kayak, enjoy the water, or take in the beautiful surroundings.
Please note: The Boar’s Nest is located on a working wild boar farm. This is an authentic farm-stay experience, not a traditional resort or cottage setting. Farm machinery, tractors, equipment, animals, wildlife, and the everyday sights and sounds of an active farm will be present throughout the property. We ask guests to be mindful of their surroundings and, before booking, make sure this unique farm experience is the right fit for their stay.
The Space
The Boar’s Nest is a charming 3-bedroom, fully stocked farmhouse surrounded by nature and designed for a comfortable, relaxing getaway. Rustic touches and unique artwork give the chalet plenty of character while creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Large windows fill the space with natural light and offer beautiful views of the surrounding forest and waterfront. Prepare dinner together in the fully equipped kitchen, curl up with a book, or settle into the comfortable seating around the fireplace for a cozy evening in.
Outside, your private hot tub is waiting — the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. At the front of the chalet, Edison lights create a warm evening glow, while the outdoor fire pit is perfect for gathering together, roasting marshmallows, and enjoying the incredibly clear night sky.
With very few distractions and nature in every direction, this is a wonderful place to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy some genuine peace and privacy.
Explore 185 Private Acres
One of the most unique features of The Boar’s Nest is the incredible amount of space surrounding you. Guests are welcome to explore the property’s extensive private trail system, which winds through forest, open areas, and beautiful natural scenery.
The trails are professionally groomed and can accommodate UTVs, ATVs, side-by-sides, dirt bikes, and even regular vehicles. Bring your toys, go for a hike, take a leisurely drive, or simply explore at your own pace.
Because this is an active farm and natural property, you may encounter wildlife, farm vehicles, machinery, uneven terrain, and ongoing farm activity while exploring. Please remain aware of your surroundings, respect the farm operations, and never enter the wild boar enclosures.
Waterfront Views & Water Access
Enjoy beautiful waterfront views right from the chalet while still having the privacy and space of the farm.
The dock and water access are located directly across the street from the chalet, making it easy to head down to the water during your stay. Bring along your kayaks, paddleboards, or other water gear and enjoy another side of this beautiful countryside retreat.
A Truly Unique Farm Experience
The Boar’s Nest is more than just a place to stay — it’s an opportunity to experience life on a real working wild boar farm.
You’ll see the animals, farm equipment and machinery throughout the property, and depending on the time of year, there may be different farming activities taking place. That authentic atmosphere is part of what makes The Boar’s Nest so special.
For guests looking for an additional adventure, guided hunting experiences may also be available. Send us a message if you’d like more information.
Perfect for Every Season
Come for a romantic weekend surrounded by nature, a family countryside getaway, a hunting trip, or an ATV adventure with friends. Spend your days exploring the acreage and trails, head across the street to the water, and come home to a hot tub and cozy fire.
If you love nature, privacy, animals, adventure, and the character of a genuine working farm, The Boar’s Nest offers an experience you won’t find at a typical chalet.
We can’t wait to welcome you to The Boar’s Nest — where farm life, nature, adventure, and relaxation come together. 🌲🐗♨️
